Sunil banking on success of Varudu

There can be no wonder if someone say all Mahesh Babu fans are eagerly waiting for the release of their favourite actor’s upcoming film Varudu, directed by Trivikram Srinivas. Fans waiting for their stars’ films releasing are common after all! But what if you hear that a celebrity is equally keen on the release and success of this film? Surely, that should generate some curiosity.

Who is that celebrity? Why is he confident about the success of Varudu? He is none other Tollywood’s most energetic and talented comedian Sunil. After a very long time, Sunil is apparently doing a full-length comedy role in Varudu, which could well be a great opportunity for him to bag more long and strong roles in other projects. Will he utilize this opportunity? We must wait and see!

After the tremendous success of Athadu (2005), Mahesh Babu once again teams up with director Trivikram Srinivas in Varudu, produced by Singanamala Ramesh under the banner of Kanakarathna Movies. In this action-based romantic entertainer, Mahesh plays the role of a taxi driver.

Cinematography is by ace Bollywood cameraman Sunil Patel of Hum Tum and Bachna Ae Haseeno fame. Mani Sharma scores the music. Varudu is slated for a July 2009 release.
