Ram - I am dad’s biggest fan

Ram Charan Teja may be the next big talent in Tollywood, but he’s got his own demons to face. There is the inevitable comparison to his iconic dad, Chiranjeevi, which mounts the pressure on his young shoulders. And much as it’s a tough battle to fight, given that his competitor is Papa dearest, Ram is also fully aware that it’s impossible to compete with the man!

“I am my father’s biggest fan. It’s a completely futile exercise trying to match up to his stature. The comparison is inevitable, but I don’t let it bog me down. I do my bit, with complete commitment,” insists the young actor. For his upcoming movie Magadheera, the young actor was expected to learn horse riding because a certain important sequence in the movie required it.

“Director Rajamouli waited for almost four years for me to equip myself with the skill before starting the movie,” he reveals. Given his father’s impressive riding skills as displayed in movies such as Kondaveeti Donga and Kodama Simham, it’s only natural that Ram wanted to master the moves before saddling up.
